June 1, 2024 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm MDT
Cedar T presents an Indigenous Herstory Pride Kick-Off Event at Evolution Wonderlounge.
The cast includes two performers who are new to the local Drag scene – Shaneequa and Rosé Quartz. Welcoming these Indigi-Queens are seasoned and established titleholders – Plastika (Edmonton’s Drag Superstar) and Stretcher Hymen (Alberta’s Drag Superstar).
Sharing her platform with stars in bloom, Cedar looks forward to keeping it fresh by mixing it up with a focus on building kinship and bridging the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous relations. Calling all allies to the Indigenous AND 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Come one come call! To support these 2 blossoming artists, to the Evo stage, in their very first – BERRY BURST!
June is National Indigenous History Month in Amiskwaciy-wâskahikan (also known as Edmonton) and across Canada.

Event Listing & Graphics Disclaimer PrideEdmonton.ca is a free, unfunded, volunteer-run community listing platform. We do not generate revenue from our services and do not receive funding or grants from community or government sources. All events and accompanying graphics are submitted by independent organizers. Many organizers operate with little or no budget and may use a variety of tools—including AI-assisted design—to create their materials. PrideEdmonton.ca does not create, edit, review, or regulate submitted graphics, nor do we assess how they are produced. Our focus is on ensuring broad visibility of the many Pride events happening across the region. Showcasing this diversity of programming helps build awareness, strengthen community connection, and foster greater understanding and acceptance. Responsibility for all submitted content rests solely with the event organizers. |
