Drag King Make Up Workshop!
June 8, 2025 @ 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm MDT
Over this 1.5 hour course you’ll learn the basics of drag king makeup, from the iconic king, Orpheus! Orpheus has been performing since 2019, and is Edmonton’s Greek king. In this workshop, he will provide overviews of specialized products, in-depth tutorials, and share all the tricks of the trade to help demystify the artform. After taking the course you’ll feel equipped and empowered to start making creative looks of your own!
Orpheus will show all the products you need to paint a drag face and explain how to best apply them. He will guide participants through a step-by-step tutorial on emulating his particular makeup style.
This class is BYOM (Bring your own make-up). We will supply you with a list of products in advance of the class and they can be purchased at the store of your choice. If you already have similar supplies you are welcome to bring them as well.
