Learn about the vibrant growth and diversity of Edmonton’s queer nightlife, which started with Club 70, Boots n Saddles, the Roost and Flashback and grew over time to include many memorable places like Prism, Secrets, Shakespear’s, the Option Room, Buddys/Woodys and Evolution, and many other spaces and places in between.
This tour will be hosted by Evolution’s Co-Owner Rob Browatzke and the legendary Twiggy.
We are pleased to be able to provide ASL interpretation for this walking tour. Please notify us at least one week in advance when you register.
The 2023 Spring/Summer EQHP Walking Tour Series is made possible thanks to funding and support provided by the MacEwan Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity, Edmonton Downtown Business Association, and the City of Edmonton.

Event Listing & Graphics Disclaimer PrideEdmonton.ca is a free, unfunded, volunteer-run community listing platform. We do not generate revenue from our services and do not receive funding or grants from community or government sources. All events and accompanying graphics are submitted by independent organizers. Many organizers operate with little or no budget and may use a variety of tools—including AI-assisted design—to create their materials. PrideEdmonton.ca does not create, edit, review, or regulate submitted graphics, nor do we assess how they are produced. Our focus is on ensuring broad visibility of the many Pride events happening across the region. Showcasing this diversity of programming helps build awareness, strengthen community connection, and foster greater understanding and acceptance. Responsibility for all submitted content rests solely with the event organizers. |
