Queer Joy YEG Community Gallery at CO*LAB

**”A space where art knows no boundaries and identity knows no limits.”**

Queer Joy YEG, in partnership with CO*LAB and as part of The Works Art and Design Festival, is excited to announce the opening reception of our community gallery exhibition, showcasing local queer youth artists from diverse backgrounds working in a variety of mediums. This coordinated effort aims to celebrate and advocate for the creative work of queer-identified artists in our community.

Join us for the opening reception on June 27th, 2024, from 6-8 pm at CO*LAB, 9641 102A Ave NW, and experience a space where art knows no boundaries and identity knows no limits.

The exhibition will run from June 27th to July 1st, 2024, with the following gallery hours:
– June 27 & 28: 6-8 pm
– June 29 to July 1: 2-5 pm

This event is a unique opportunity to engage with the artists, view their diverse works, and be part of a supportive and inclusive community. Community {Arts} Laboratory (CO*LAB) is a grassroots, arts-centred community venue in downtown Edmonton. The indoor gallery space is 600 square feet, fully wheelchair accessible, and secured outside gallery hours.

Event highlights include a diverse range of artistic mediums and expressions, an inclusive space celebrating queer identities, opportunities to meet and interact with the artists, and a vibrant community gathering.
