Bring Friends and Family out to DECL’s Pride Breakfast!

Join the Downtown Edmonton Community League at our Pride Breakfast on Saturday, June 8th at the DECL Community Space (10042 – 103 st). We will be serving a pancake breakfast from 9 am – 11 am.  This is an opportunity to share a meal and build relationships with members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies. It is a time to celebrate diversity, culture, and to amplify voices.

Supporting 2SLGBTQ+ youth

All proceeds from the DECL Pride Breakfast will be donated to the CHEW Project. The Community, Heath, Empowerment & Wellness (CHEW) Project is an extension of the FYREFLY Institute. It provides a safe environment and free frontline support for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and young adults under 29, who are facing barriers. Some of those barriers include mental health, poverty, houselessness, substance use, sexual health, oppression, and more. The CHEW Project offers a wide range of services, including counselling, crisis intervention, Indigenous peer support, and drop-in for basic needs.
