June 23, 2024 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm MDT
Atma Yoga is hosting a FREE Pride Month yoga class on Sunday, June 23 from 1 – 2pm.
Join us for a beginner-friendly and judgement-free class where the instructors will demo different options for each asana/pose. If you’ve never had a chance to take a yoga class in an inclusive and welcoming studio, this class is for you.
The class will ease you into a gentle hatha practice and end on a relaxing note with some restorative poses.
Instructors TJ Snow and Janelle Snow approach their teaching through a trauma-informed lens, meaning they won’t adjust/touch students, and will use gender and weight neutral language and encourage the use of props. Atma is a beautiful and inclusive studio, and this class will have soft music and lighting. No scents or oils will be used during the class.
Space is limited and please bring your own mat. Register now at https://www.atmayogacanada.com/schedule

A Pride Unlike Any Other Event Listing & Graphics Disclaimer PrideEdmonton.ca is a free, unfunded, volunteer-run community listing platform. We do not generate revenue from our services and do not receive funding or grants from community or government sources. All events and accompanying graphics are submitted by independent organizers. Many organizers operate with little or no budget and may use a variety of tools—including AI-assisted design—to create their materials. PrideEdmonton.ca does not create, edit, review, or regulate submitted graphics, nor do we assess how they are produced. Our focus is on ensuring broad visibility of the many Pride events happening across the region. Showcasing this diversity of programming helps build awareness, strengthen community connection, and foster greater understanding and acceptance. Responsibility for all submitted content rests solely with the event organizers. |
