DESCRIPTION:Why is research an important part of 2SLGBTQ+ communities? Come to the third annual Queer Research Connections event to learn how you can pursue the answers to big questions! Student research will be highlighted\, and participants will learn how to engage in research of their own. SUMMARY:Queer Poetry: an afternoon with Nisha Patel
DESCRIPTION:Nisha Patel is a renowned disabled queer poet and spoken word artist. She was the City of Edmonton’s 8th Poet Laureate\, a Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Champion and has several awards to her name. \n\n\n\nShe has spoken extensively on the intersections between queerness and disability and explores these topics in her creative work.
