DESCRIPTION:The Edmonton Queer History Project and Fort Edmonton Park proudly announce the opening of “Regulating Morality: Exploring Edmonton’s Queer History\,” a historical display showcasing 2SLGBTQ+ existence and resistance in the ongoing fight for human rights. \n\n\n\nRegulating Morality explores key historic events including the moral theocracy of “Bible Bill” Aberhart\, HIV/AIDS pandemic\, the landmark Vriend v. Alberta Supreme Court case\, to current threats against 2SLGBTQ+ equality and human rights. DESCRIPTION:This 6 day\, overnight camp is open to anyone ages 5-17\, in the 2sLGBTQIA+ community\, their allies or siblings. Staffed entirely by queer adults and trusted allies\, this program offers a space where kids can feel safe\, celebrated\, and truly seen.  \n\n\n\nWe offer the same inclusive and supportive programming as with all of our camps: canoeing\, crafts\, outdoor education\, and more. Every activity is designed to build self-confidence\, spark joy\, and create a powerful sense of community.
