Drag Me Out to the Ballgame is a high-energy, joy-filled drag baseball fundraiser that blends community sport, camp, and cause into one unforgettable event.
Drag performers, community members, and allies take to the diamond for a friendly (and fabulously chaotic) game of baseball, complete with big personalities, bold looks, and plenty of laughs. The event is designed to be accessible and welcoming—no athletic experience required—just a willingness to show up, cheer loud, and celebrate queer joy.
Beyond the fun, Drag Me Out to the Ballgame has a serious heart. Proceeds from the event support 2SLGBTQ+ non-profit organizations and community initiatives, helping fund programs, services, and supports that directly benefit queer communities in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The event also creates visible, affirming space for drag artists and 2SLGBTQ+ folks in sport—an area where representation has historically been limited.
Whether you’re playing, volunteering, or watching from the stands, Drag Me Out to the Ballgame is about visibility, connection, and raising meaningful funds—proving that sport can be inclusive, playful, and proudly queer!

Event Listing & Graphics Disclaimer PrideEdmonton.ca is a free, unfunded, volunteer-run community listing platform. We do not generate revenue from our services and do not receive funding or grants from community or government sources. All events and accompanying graphics are submitted by independent organizers. Many organizers operate with little or no budget and may use a variety of tools—including AI-assisted design—to create their materials. PrideEdmonton.ca does not create, edit, review, or regulate submitted graphics, nor do we assess how they are produced. Our focus is on ensuring broad visibility of the many Pride events happening across the region. Showcasing this diversity of programming helps build awareness, strengthen community connection, and foster greater understanding and acceptance. Responsibility for all submitted content rests solely with the event organizers. |
