DESCRIPTION:Free\, family-friendly event located at Lion’s Park St. Albert on June 20th from 12 pm to 7 pm!We will have various local organizations sharing resources for all ages apart of the LGBTQIA+ community\, art vendors\, local musical performers\, drag performers and various activities throughout the day. We will also have food trucks available throughout the day\, as well as some sweet treats like coffee and Kona Ice in the later afternoon. SUMMARY:Drag Me Out to the Ballgame
DESCRIPTION:For the fifth year in a row\, we are stepping up to the plate with the incredible support of Servus Credit Union as they proudly present the 5th Annual Drag Me Out to the Ballgame with YEG Drag Sports \n\n\n\nJoin us June 20 at RE/MAX Field for a day of drag\, community\, baseball\, and fundraising that continues to grow bigger every year. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 11am and the family friendly game starts at 12pm. After the game\, keep the celebration going at our 18+ after party from 3:30pm to 6:30pm featuring incredible performances\, music\, and community. \n\n\n\nThis year\, proceeds from the event will support HIV Edmonton and SACE Sexual Assault Centre\, two organizations doing vital work in our community through advocacy\, education\, support services\, and care for people who need it most. \n\n\n\nWhether you come for the baseball\, the drag\, the after party\, or simply to celebrate community\, this event is about bringing people together while making a real impact right here in Edmonton. Every ticket helps support important local programs and creates space for visibility\, inclusion\, and joy. \n\n\n\nDrag Me Out to the Ballgame is a high-energy\, joy-filled drag baseball fundraiser that blends community sport\, camp\, and cause into one unforgettable event. \n\n\n\nDrag performers\, community members\, and allies take to the diamond for a friendly (and fabulously chaotic) game of baseball\, complete with big personalities\, bold looks\, and plenty of laughs. The event is designed to be accessible and welcoming—no athletic experience required—just a willingness to show up\, cheer loud\, and celebrate queer joy. \n\n\n\nBeyond the fun\, Drag Me Out to the Ballgame has a serious heart. Proceeds from the event support 2SLGBTQ+ non-profit organizations and community initiatives\, helping fund programs\, services\, and supports that directly benefit queer communities in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The event also creates visible\, affirming space for drag artists and 2SLGBTQ+ folks in sport—an area where representation has historically been limited. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re playing\, volunteering\, or watching from the stands\, Drag Me Out to the Ballgame is about visibility\, connection\, and raising meaningful funds—proving that sport can be inclusive\, playful\, and proudly queer! \n\n\n\nDrag Me Out – AFTER PARTY (2026)\n\n\n\nAfter the game\, strut your stuff over to the Alley Kat Party Pen (18+) patio down the 1st base line at RE/MAX Field for the Pride Party (3:30-6:30 pm).
