DESCRIPTION:No pride without intersectionality! COVID Safer amiskwaciy would like to personally invite you to our Pride Picnic on Sunday\, June 28th\, drop in from 1pm – 4pm. Meet us at the gazebo by the playground. \n\n\n\nTRANSIT/PARKING: Take the LRT Valley Line to the Muttart stop\, then walk to the park. Multiple bus stops close by\, including: #8\, #523\, #411\, #501. Street parking available around the park. If you need a ride or help getting there\, please DM or email us at covidsaferamiskwaciy@proton.me. \n\n\n\nCOVID PROTOCOLS/ACCESS INFO: There will be a designated masked and unmasked area. Please wear a well fitting KN94 or better in the masked area. A variety of different mask brands/styles will be provided. Eating and drinking is permitted in the unmasked designated zone. The gazebo area is covered and has picnic benches. We will also bring some fold up chairs and picnic blankets. If you have other access requests\, please feel free to message us and we will do our best to accommodate you! \n\n\n\nFOOD/DRINKS: There will be some vegan and gluten free pre-packaged snacks available! Please feel free to bring an item to share with an ingredients list. \n\n\n\nACTIVITIES: We invite you to hang out with us\, even if you don’t know anyone – we would love to have you join! There will be family friendly acitivites including: mask chain making\, giant bubbles\, board games\, & other arts & crafts. Feel free to bring your own activities. DESCRIPTION:Our Family style Born This Way camp grew out of a need for 2SLGBTQIA+ families to also have a safe space to experience all the magic of summer camp\, as a family unit. This camp will provide the same structured activities as our regular summer camp programs\, such as canoeing\, outdoor education\, swimming\, crafts and a few spiritual elements. These activities will be staff led\, and are optional for families. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of film\, community\, and celebration as we showcase outstanding queer storytelling from Edmonton and beyond! \n\n\n\nOn August 8th\, the Edmonton Short Film Festival is hosting an event featuring a Community Mixer from 6 PM to 8 PM\, with free food and two free drink tickets for ticket holders. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Following the mixer\, a film screening will begin at 8 PM! Films will be announced soon! \n\n\n\nThe venue location is at 11726 95 St\, Edmonton\, in the upstairs event space. \n\n\n\nWe are committed to creating a welcome\, inclusive\, and safer space for everyone attending this Pride screening.
