Edmonton Pride Month
The City of Festivals knows how to celebrate and this year there are more Pride Celebrations than ever and they happen all Summer long. Even with no Edmonton Pride Parade… Edmonton brings you more Pride Celebrations than many other cities offer.
We expect that 2025 will see over 100 events and Pride Edmonton will be focused on finding all the information you need to plan your celebration of Pride. And once again we will see events in all 3 months of our Summer starting the Festival Season off May 30th and closing it off on August 24, 2025.
Start off the celebrations with Edmonton’s newest festival – Edmonton Drag Festival. Then watch for the Fruit Loop Pride Dance Party at the Starlite Room later in the month.
And Evolution Wonderlounge is the place for great entertainment shows and amazing DJ’s every weekend during Pride Month. And be sure to catch some amazing stars from Canada’s Drag Race and more. To cap your weekend off take in one of their legendary Sunday shows.
Want to learn more about Edmonton’s Queer history then join the Edmonton Queer History Project and the Downtown Business Association as they bring you the EQHP Walking Tours – each with a different theme throughout Pride Month and the Summer of Pride.
Love going to markets? Pride Month has those too. The Gay AF Market is one you won’t want to miss and stay tuned for more markets during the month.
And you won’t want to miss the 20th Annual Mayor’s Pride Brunch. Each year, the Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity coordinates the Mayor’s Pride Brunch to raise funds to support their 2SLGBTQ+ programs. Held at the Convention Centre this event features some great food and entertainment.
And that’s not all…. Bowling with Queens, A Riverboat Cruise with Queens, popup Park drag shows with Queens, Baseball with Queens, Choirs, Burlesque, Conferences and even some green thumb planting … it all happens celebrating Pride Month in Edmonton. – June 1st to June 30th.
Edmonton Pride Parade
Once again Edmonton will not hold the Edmonton Pride Parade. The last one held was in 2018 and in 2019 the Edmonton Pride Festival Society cancelled the Parade and Pride Festival due to demands made that could not be met.
