Complicating Pride @ SSUC

You’re invited to an open, expansive, safe and calming time for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies. We’ll honour all our emotions for the month of pride, acknowledge the work yet to do, and set intentions for the year ahead, including a ritual of holding our Pride month joy and anxieties in a personal, safe way.
Stay after for a marshmallow roast to chat and connect.
About the host: SSUC Edmonton is a United Church space that has been a radical, social-justice, and queer-led community for decades. With its inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed focus, SSUC feels like your local community centre, library, watering hole, or living room. It’s a spiritual space with no doctrines or shame, run with queer collaboration and leadership representation. This includes living the values of intersectional activism, the Earth Charter, and advocating for the affirmation and inclusion of all ages, genders, sexualities, abilities, cultures, and spiritual traditions (or none).
